• Who to communicate with

Routes for apprentices to raise problems or comments about their training, the centre or themselves

    Your Tutor

If you have a problem or need some advice, your tutor should be the first person you speak to, they can solve the problem, tell you who to speak to or pass it on themselves to the relevant person in the centre.

    Centre operations / management team

If you have a problem with a member of staff’s actions or you feel the problem can’t be solved or isn’t being solved by your tutor you can talk to a member of the centre’s operations / management team, their names and pictures are in the handbook under management.

    TDA / ITM

You will have a review with your TDA / ITM at least every 12 weeks. You can talk to them about problems or things that you think could improve the centres. They will make sure this is passed on to the relevant person, it has always been surprising what small but significant changes have happened after an apprentice has just saying something in a review.

    Safeguarding / welfare team

If you have a safeguarding or welfare problem you can talk to the safeguarding / welfare team, their names are in the handbook in the safeguarding and first aid sections.

    Learner Voice

This is your committee to pass on to the senior management your thoughts’ via your learner voice representatives about how your time in the centre is going what is good and what can be improved. This is not the place to say the toilets were blocked last Wednesday, which should be your tutor, but more general or long term things that you would like to be changed such as the times the buses leave the centre in the evening.
